SPFW + Lolita 52: My signature outfit

Hello, everyone!

I am very sorry for my 2-week absence. College has been taking up my time, but I hope to go back to writing at least one post per week.
This post is a bit different from others, because today I'll share my experience at this year's São Paulo Fashion Week, Latin America's most important fashion event. I think it will be nice to stray away from Japanese fashion on this blog once in a while!
Fistly, this is what I wore:

And it kind of ties in with Lolita 52's 48. My signature outfit, even if I wasn't wearing it as "proper" Lolita (no petticoat and whatnot). I gave a brief interview to some folks from MSN about my "romantic" look.

The show I went to was João Pimenta Summer 2014, a menswear collection. I really liked it, I thought it was a very democratic collection that would please men on both ends of the fashion scale. Here is a little clip I recorded:

This year there were fewer stands, the only one I saw was one for Melissa, exhibiting the new designs by Karl Lagerfeld. They were giving out pink ice cream (sorry, no pics of that!) and a magazine:

It included a special on Cara Delevigne. Coincidentally, I went to watch Anna Karenina yesterday, and Cara had a role in that movie!

Well, this is it for today. Next week there will be a triple Lolita 52 Challenge post and I will try to become part of the Lolita Blog Carnival, so there will be more interesting topics to talk about!

Olá, pessoal!

Sinto muito pela minha ausência do blog por duas semanas. A faculdade tem tomado o meu tempo, mas eu espero poder voltar a fazer pelo menos um post por semana.

Este post vai ser um pouco diferente dos outros, porque hoje vou compartilhar minha experiência do São Paulo Fashion Week. Acho que vai ser bom sair um pouco do tema moda japonesa de vez em quando!

Primeiramente, o que eu usei:

Bate um pouco com o tema do Lolita 52: 48. Meu look mais reconhecido, apesar de eu não estar usando Lolita propriamente (sem petticoat e tal). Eu dei uma entrevistinha sobre meu look "romântico" para um pessoal do portal MSN.

O desfile que assisti foi João Pimenta Verão 2014, uma coleção de moda masculina. Gostei bastante, achei bem democrático e deve agradar a homens nos dois extremos da escala fashion. Eu filmei um pouquinho pra mostrar:

Esse ano tinha poucos estandes, o único que vi foi o da Melissa, mostrando a coleção nova com o Karl Lagerfeld. Eles estavam distribuindo sorvete rosa (não tirei fotos!) e uma revista:

Ela inclui um especial sobre a Cara Delevigne. Coincidentemente, eu fui assistir Anna Karenina ontem e ela tem um papel nesse filme!

Bem, é isso por hoje. Semana que vem vou fazer um post triplo de Lolita 52 Challenge e estou tentando entrar para o Lolita Blog Carnival, então haverão temas novos e interessantes para escrever!
